Yes, SSN School of Management is better than Rajalakshmi School of Business, not only in terms of fees and infrastructure but also in the quality of education. SSN School of Management is a NAAC A++ accreditted college and offers MBA in multiple specializations whereas Rajalakshmi School of Business does not offers MBA but PGDM. If you are looking forward to pursuing an MBA degree, than SSN School of Management is better than Rajalakshmi School of Business.

SSN School of Management is a much sought after destination for students aspiring to do an MBA program. SSN School of Management offers only MBA in multiple specializations like HR, Finance, Marketting etc. The total seat intake for MBA at SSN School of Management is 120 seats. Thus, a total of 120 students can do MBA at SSN School of Management. However, the seat intake may vary in exceptional cases.

Applicants seeking admission to MBA programme of SSN School of Management (SSN SoM) under
lapsed seats should have taken any one of the following all India admission Tests and scored the
respective percentiles as indicated.

  • CAT / XAT / CMAT (conducted for 2022 admissions) - greater than or equal to 60 percentile
  • MAT 2021-22 (Sept / Dec 2021, Feb / May 2022)/ ATMA 2021-22 - greater than or equal to 80 percentile
  • TANCET 2022 - greater than or equal to 80 percentile
  • Any State Level Admission Tests (2022) - greater than or equal to 80 percentile

Candidates seeking MBA admissions under the Management Quota must have written one of the entrance tests – CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT or TANCET or any State Level Admission Test conducted by the respective states (outside Tamil Nadu). The selection process is based on the scores in the entrance test as well as past academic record and performance at the Group Discussion and Personal Interview organized by the Institution.

The total fees for the two-year programme is Rs.487400 which includes single room accommodation. All modes of payment will be accepted. The fees for both Management Quota and Government Quota are the same. There are no additional fees that have to be paid for securing admission. Admissions are fully based on Merit.

Placement Experience: 

From the end of the 3rd semester, the placement starts and you should get Min 60+ in cycle tests to become eligible for the interview. Totally 100+ companies came and 95% got placed. The highest package is 7.5 LPA by a federal bank for a Marketing role. Mostly, marketing and sales companies visited the campus and 80% got placed in that domain. I joined ICICI bank after my MBA as a relationship manager.

Remarks: 

The admission process is of two methods. One is by TANCET marks and the other one ( Management quota) is by clearing GD and PI conducted by the college. The minimum criteria are getting 60% in grad
