International first-time freshmen may qualify for an application fee waiver. Students can complete the National Association for College Admissions Counseling Fee Waiver Form and submit a PDF copy through myUH account. Applicants must provide their personal information and must meet at least one of the following indicators of financial need:

• Students must be eligible to receive an ACT or SAT testing fee waiver
• He/ she must be eligible to participate in the Federal Free or Reduced Price Lunch programme (FRPL)
• Applicant's annual family income falls within the income Eligibility Guidelines* set by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service
• The student’s family receives public assistance
• The student lives in federally subsidized public housing, a foster home, or is homeless
• The student is a ward of the state or an orphan
• Other requests from the high school principal, high school counselor, financial aid officer, community advisor/leader or
• other official who can attest to the student's circumstances

Note: If no item is checked from the above list, the request will be denied.

The University of Houston has a separate admission process to apply for UG and PG admission. International students must check the list of documents to complete the admission process. Mentioned below is the University of Houston application process to apply for UG and PG admission:

Step 1: Applicants can start the online application form. There is a non-refundable Houston application fee of USD 80 or INR 6,660.60 to apply

Step 2: Provide a valid test scores, such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, etc.

Step 3: Submit official high school/secondary school transcripts

Step 4: Check your application status through the portal

Step 5: Wait for a confirmation email from the UH admission department

Step 6: At last, Register for your mandatory Orientation through portal

Houston University application process for PG admission:

Step 1: Fill out the online application form through official website

Step 2: Upload the documents to your application

Step 3: Submit your test scores, such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, etc.

Step 4: Provide your Degree Certificates/Diplomas

Step 5: Submit a non-refundable Houston application fee of USD 80 or INR 6,660.60 to apply

Step 6: Wait for a confirmation email from the UH admission department
