The duration of the KI University Joint Master’s programme in Health Informatics is 2 years. The language of the instruction of this programme is English. This programme is designed for students who are interested in Information Technology and its application to the fields of Medicine and Healthcare. After completing this course, students can go for the career roles like Health Informatician. Many Health Informaticians work as CMIO, CCIO, IT Managers, Application Experts, System Developers, Requirements Analysts, Interaction Designers, etc.

Currently, Leipzig University does not charge tuition fees for a student’s first degree. However, in certain cases, students may be required to pay fees for a second degree or for exceeding the standard period of study by too long. Certain fees are also charged for some special courses and the DSH course. All applicants, including international and doctoral students, need to pay the semester fee before the start of each semester. In addition to this semester fee, the university levies tuition fees for long-term students and second undergraduate degrees.

Students can study master’s as well as bachelor’s programs at Karolinska Institutet. At the master’s level, 11 degree programs are available in the Health and Life Sciences fields. The master’s programs are taught in English. In the case of bachelor’s program, only one programme is available in the Biomedicine field. A few of the master’s programme that are available are:

KI Global Master’s Scholarship is applicable to international students who have applied to one of the Global Master’s programs. This scholarship only covers the tuition fee (or part of the tuition fee for programs only partially given by KI). The competition for this scholarship is fierce as around 1,500 apply for this scholarship annually. For this scholarship, the selection process is based on the overall assessment of the applicants’ CV and qualifications.

Yes, Karolinska Institute accepts students from a variety of backgrounds. In total, there are around 6,500 students at the university. Around one-fifth of the students at this university are international. Various master's programs and one bachelor's programme are available for international students. Moreover, the tuition fees at this university and will cost around INR 14 L – INR 18 L. Also, there are scholarship opportunities available for international students. One of the scholarships for which international students are eligible is Karolinska Institutet Global Master's Scholarship.

Leipzig University expects a GPA of 3 on a scale of 4 from international students. Along with the GPA, the university wants a student with excellent academic scores; standardized scores; English language proficiency, and work experience. In addition, students must participate in extracurricular activities to add a positive impact on their resume. With an acceptance rate of 10%, the university is quite competitive but students with good performance can still make a place in any program.
