Yes, it is a free application for international students applying for undergraduate courses. By not having an application fee, the University is creating good options and opportunities for students across the globe to pursue their educational interests and goals without the financial burden on the students. However, Oakland University has an application fee for PG students of USD 45 ( INR 3.7K).

The University Asks for a GPA of a Minimum of 3.2 or higher for admission consideration for UG programs. However, the university still considers candidates who have a CGPA below 3.2. Additionally, applicants can submit letters of recommendation, SOP and a professional resume to make the portfolio look stronger (these requirements aren’t compulsory). Students applying for Oakland University SAT or ACT scores are no longer required for fall of 2025, for students with a minimum high school GPA of 2.5.

At San Francisco State University, international students are expected to score a minimum GPA of 3 on a scale of 4. Along with GPA, standardized scores, English language requirements, and academic performance are equally crucial for SFSU admissions. International students must score an SAT score of a minimum of 1230 and an ACT score of 27. In addition, if a student has any prior experience relevant to the chosen programme can make a huge impact in the selection.

Eastern Michigan University has a minimum requirement of 2.0 Cumulative GPA or higher to be considered for first-year admissions. The students who have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher out of 4.0 will not be required to submit their standardized test scores. The graduate international applicants are required to submit a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
