There are several reasons why Indian students choose to study at Baylor University. Baylor's Indian Subcontinent Student Association (ISSA) is the largest multicultural organisation on campus, providing unity among students of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, and Myanmar while also providing all Baylor University students the opportunity to experience basic Indian Subcontinent culture. Another reason is the academic opportunities available, with Indian students mostly preferring business and computer science courses due to their good placement opportunities.

The Sanders College of Business and Technology is also ranked highly by various publications, including CEO Magazine, Online MBA Today, and Best Value Schools. However, the online MBA programme is ranked #217 in Best Online MBA Programs by US News, and some reviews on Niche mention a lack of diversity and limited networking opportunities. Ultimately, it is important for individuals to research and evaluate the programme based on their own needs and goals.
