Definitely, the course at SITM is tailormade for students from electronics background. I too am an ECE graduate and felt very easy to adapt to the MBA course at SITM. Here, you'll not only learn technology related subjects, but the managerial and practical aspects of those subjects.

The placement at SITM is almost 100% since its inception. Being from commerce background won't hamper your chance for placement. Infact consulting companies that offer audit related roles prefer students from commerce background.

SITM is specific, you never know the market. Moreover, there is technical stuff which you may not know or take time.

Sales and marketing profiles are generally offered to M and F specialization. It is very difficult to give you a specific package for it. The average of M and F is higher but the top package is mostly grabbed by systems profile candidate.

Placements are good and primarily in ICT domain. Commerce graduates with good understanding of technology never find the course difficult here.

There are total 150 seats in the college. 60 for systems and finance, 60 for marketing and finance and 30 for analytics and finance which is a newly introduced specialisation.
There is not fixed formula for the number of students attending GE-PI-WAT. I do not have the official figure but let's say that the ratio is 3 to 3.5 students for 1 seat. A fee student book the slot but don't show up due to some other commitments.
Try and book a working day slot. The weekend slots are booked by the people with work experience and tend to have stronger competition.

Topics are generic and generally non technical. But please be aware of the current events and affairs. Also, form a solid and reasonable opinion about it.

Group exercise can be a group activity where your team work and skills are evaluated. Your active participation is expected.

There are BE chemical students in our institute. It solely depends on your interest in telecom domain which would be reflected through your interviews. As far as shortlisting is considered, it would depend on your SNAP score and previous experience if any.

It depends on the company .Some companies do not differentiate on the basis of experience. While some are interested in your previous job profile irrespective of number of months or years you have worked. This year some fresher's and candidates with less experience got better package than those have 2+ year experience.It solely depends on the company and the candidate.
