Symbiosis Institute of Technology

As students who have finished 12th, we all hope to get into premier institutions like IITs, NITs, IIITs, etc. But when we had to face reality, we knew we had to choose from a wide range of colleges. The hunt had begun. During this search, we came across the well-known brand of Symbiosis and so we decided to pay it a visit. On reaching the campus, we were greeted by pleasant weather and lush greenery; something that was not frequently experienced by those from big cities. The attitude of the staff and teachers during the counseling was extremely caring. The entire session was very well planned and executed. In our first semester, we got to know the institute better. The syllabus is tailored for the changing times. It has been derived from the academics of the premier institutes in the country. We had the TechFest which was an amazing experience. There is an annual cultural-fest called Reverb, during which we learned a lot about event management and about how much of hard work goes into planning and executing an event. At SIT, there is a Semester Abroad program for the deserving students wherein they have an opportunity to get educated for an entire semester in the world renowned institutes. Scholarships are also offered to students with excellent academic performance which encourages all the students to work hard to make the bar. The dream of every college student is to have an amazing hostel life; something which is fulfilled here at SIT. The hostel premises are extremely secure and well managed. Cleanliness is maintained in the entire campus. Going to college is as much about finding who you really are as it about getting that degree. If some area of study other than your chosen branch attracts you, the professors here try to help you out as much as they can. This is a culture that exists here, something that is really hard to find in other colleges. Here we have also learned to think about our future, which probably is the best thing that can happen. Concluding this review, we would like to say that our choice of joining SIT has been a good one and were proud to be a part of one of India's top emerging institutions.
