If the percentage is below 45% for a general candidate or below 40% for a reserved category candidate then the candidate is not eligible for admission. Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria in order to apply for SITEEE. The admission authority will not consider the application of non-eligible candidates.

The quality of mess food is decent and the best part is they used to serve 4 meals a day, hence the students wouldn't have to face any issues in finding food in and around the campus.

There is a variety of dishes served and there is no bondations over the quantity of food you want to take .

You are given fruits, salads, juice, sweets, deserts etc. on a regular basis .

Non veg food is served thrice a week and the taste is quite decent .

The grading system here is relative grading .

Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) follows a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) system for evaluating student performance. Here's a general overview of how CGPA is calculated:

  1. Grade Points: Each grade received in a course is assigned a specific grade point. The grade point scale may vary between institutions, but it is commonly on a scale of 10. For example:

    • O: 10 grade points
    • A+: 9 grade points
    • A: 8 grade points
    • B+: 7

Academic Consequences: Continuous assessment, including internal exams, often contributes to the final grade or evaluation of a course. Missing internal exams may result in a lower overall grade or an incomplete assessment, affecting the stu

If a student fails his internal exams at SIT  then he/she will have to do certain assignments or give certain tests in the next semester to clear the internal backlog .

Usually, we have a system of n internals for n credit subjects which is distributed well in form of written test, mcqs, courses etc. so as to give students a proper chance to clear the internals even if they missed one
