Minimum qualification for admission is a pass certificate in the final examination of 10+2 system or its equivalent with 50% aggregate for Open category and minimum of 45% aggregate for SC/ST category candidates.To be eligible for admission, candidates must also take the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED). The computer-based SEED exam is administered online. The exam measures the candidate's foundational understanding of design, art, craft and culture, environment, and logic in Science and mathematics.

You must submit a fee refund application to your school's principal, informing him or her of the problem. You can get a refund after the principal approves it.Students will be allowed a 100 per cent refund within 15 days or more before the formally notified last date of admission, while they will be given 90 per cent below 15 days. After 15 days, 80 per cent of refund will be available, and 50 per cent by 30 days. After a month, students will not be eligible for a refund.

Each candidate will have to appear for a proctored Online written exam on the selected dates. The candidates will thereafter undergo Personal Interview with the selection panel.
