There are a total of six semesters in the total course duration. Students have to go through an internship in the last semester of the programme. Some of the topics covered in the UG programme are:

• Fundamentals of skincare
• Fundamentals of hair care
• Nutrition through the life cycle
• Holistic weight management
• Salon hair techniques, etc. 

There is semester-wise subject list in the course curriculum. Course curriculum is curated in a way that ensures students get good knowledge of theory topics and exposure of real world topics through internship. The topics/subjects covered in the first semester of SSPU Pune BSc Data Science programme are:

• Introduction to C Programming
• Basics of Data Science
• Probability and Statistics
• Linear Algebra and Basics of Calculus
• Data Analysis using Spread Sheet (VBA)
• Banking part-I
• Communication skills - I

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category students from the state of Maharashtra) are eligible for the courses. The applicants further have to go through the SSPU selection rounds to get admitted. SSPU may conduct a skill test/interview for selection. For BSc courses, SAT score is also accepted. Yes, Symbiosis Skills and Professional University offers three-year BSc programmes. The UG course is available in three specialisations, including beauty and wellness, data science, and nutritional sciences and dietitics. Admission to the course is based on performance in the selection rounds. Candidates can register and fill out the application on the official website to apply for BSc course admissions.

The SSPU Pune BSc admission criteria is carried out based on candidates performance in the selection rounds. Applicants may have to take the skill test and take part in the interview round. Moreover, SAT scores are also accepted by the applicants. Apart from this, the candidates must also fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements.

The aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board are eligible to apply. No, SKILL-CAT exam is not compulsory to get into MBA at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University. Candidates can also apply with a valid score of national-level examinations. The accepted entrance exams are CAT/MAT/SNAP/GMAT, etc. After shortlisting candidates based on exam scores, the university calls them for group discussion and personal interview rounds.

Yes, you need to go through an internship and project in the second year of the programme. This shall help candidates gain in-field experience. On completion of internship, a certificate issued by the respective entity may also have to be submitted at the university.
