No, qualifying the Haryana Teaching Eligibility Test (HTET) does not ensure job as a Government school teacher. HTET is only a eligibility exam that verifies that the candidates qualifying for the exam is eligible to teach in schools. To get recruited as a teacher in Haryana Government schools, the HTET qualified candidates have to appear for the teacher's recruitment exam conducted by the Haryana State Government.

You have to become a popostgraduateeacher first. For that, I have listed the PGT criteria -
PGT Maths eligibility:
- Master's degree with atleast 50% marks in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics.
- B.Ed. From recognised university
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
So first you have to do a Bachelor's degree with Mathematics as a subject. Then do the Master's degree in Mathematics+ B.Ed.
