There is no such upper age limit for applying for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET). However, the candidate should be of minimum age that is normally 18 years. Age requirements may differ according to the category of the particular exam, for example, TGT, JBT, Shastri, Language Teacher, etc.

The MP TET scorecard presents the necessary information about how the candidate has performed in the test. It contains the candidate's name and roll number, along with the registration number. A scorecard also provides for total marks obtained, the marks scored in each of the subjects, and a cutoff mark for qualification. The MP TET exam is moderately challenging. It tests its candidates in terms of child development and pedagogy, language proficiency, mathematics, environmental studies, and the candidate's base knowledge for teaching primary and upper primary classes. How difficult or not depends mainly on how a candidate would prepare himself/herself, but a good understanding in teaching methodology, educational psychology, and syllabus involved in that respective subject area is always a requirement during the MP TET exams. MP TET qualifying candidates can apply for teaching jobs in the schools under the government of Madhya Pradesh.
