There is no such upper age limit for applying for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET). However, the candidate should be of minimum age that is normally 18 years. Age requirements may differ according to the category of the particular exam, for example, TGT, JBT, Shastri, Language Teacher, etc.

HP TET is conducted in offline mode, means the applicant would have to be present physically. But the application process is conducted online on the HP TET official website.

The MP TET scorecard presents the necessary information about how the candidate has performed in the test. It contains the candidate's name and roll number, along with the registration number. A scorecard also provides for total marks obtained, the marks scored in each of the subjects, and a cutoff mark for qualification. Information about the candidate's qualifying status (whether Pass or Fail) can be found here, which also includes category-wise cut-off, if applicable, and rank of the candidate, if applicable. The scorecard is important at the next stages of recruitment, which include document verification and final selection.

MP TET qualifying candidates can apply for teaching jobs in the schools under the government of Madhya Pradesh. Clearing the MP TET will not automatically place a candidate in a teaching position; however, he can apply to the available teaching posts through the recruitment notifications published by the MP government or the schools. The final shortlist is usually determined by the number of vacancies, performance in the examination, and sometimes additional rounds such as interviews. CTET admit card has already been released on 12 December 2024. Also, the CTET exam was held on 14th December and 15th December 2024.
