The Oxford College of Engineering

The department of Information Science and Engineering of OXford College of Engineering was established in the year 2000, with the objective of moulding young boys and girls into Information Science Engineering professionals. The department has a four year full time BE programme and a two year M.Tech (CNE) programme with an annual intake of 120 and 18 respectively. The department has been thrice accredited by NBA and NAAC. These courses are imparted with deep theoretical and practical learning, for the perfect blend of techno managerial skills and hands activities. The College is falling under NIRF ranking band Engineering (Rank-band: 251-300). So college can be rated with 6 points out of 10.

The department is provided with good infrastructure. The staffs are experienced and qualified. The department is also run two PG course in thermal engineering and design engineering. The department believes in practical oriented education. The lower semester students are encouraged to make mini projects based on the technical knowledge gained. The final year students are encouraged to present technical papers in national level conferences. Internship are arranged in leading companies in and around Bangalore to gain technical skill and industrial exposures.
