Thiruvalluvar College of Engineering and Technology

The Thiruvalluvar University was established in Vellore district of Tamilnadu by the Goverment of Tamilnadu in october 2002 under the Thiruvalluvar University. It is a member of the association of Indian Universities. The Thiruvalluvar University has currently housed Ten departments namely Tamil, English, Economics, Zoology, Mathematics, Computer Science etc. and 74 colleges affiliated to this university.

For admission in hostel of Thiruvalluvar university, we will have to submit a application form of hostel admission.the students taking admission during the academic year 2022-2023 are advised to download application from and instruction from the university site and submit the filled application after completion of academic formalities in Thiruvalluvar University with all revelvant enclosure as mentioned in the table below for verification and alloment of hostel. The security fees is 3000 rs which is refundable and room rent is 500 per month electricty fees is 500 per months, mess fees is 3000 per month.

The most backward class and denotified communities (DNC) have 20% reservations. The scheduled castes are provided 18% of seats, including the 3% Arunthathiyars group. The scheduled tribes are provided 1% of the seats.The university also reserves 3% of the above categories for Physically handicapped people.

Placements: About 70% of student are placed the minimum salary package at our college is 5 lPA and the maximum is 16 LPA  and 7 LPA is the avrage package of our college there are many dream comapanies come in our campus and many students placed and works in our dream company. Yes there are many hostels available close to Thiruvalluvar university. Like as Akshayaa womens Hostel, DAV Ladies hostel, blossom womens hostel, S A womens's hostel etc. In these hostels Akshayaa Womens Hostel is the best beacause it is near to university and its facility is the best as compare then other hostels.
