The University School of Information and Communication Technology hosts InfoXpression, an annual techno-cultural festival. It is the largest technical spectacular hosted at the university, and students from more than 250 colleges in north India actively participate in it. In Thiruvalluvar University, students are given two opportunities to pass their internal exams. If a student fails the internal exams in the first attempt, they will be given a grace mark of 5. If the student fails again, they will be required to appear for a supplementary exam.

If a student fails the supplementary exam, they will be required to repeat the course.

The following are the consequences of failing internal exams in Thiruvalluvar University:

• A student who fails one or two internal exams in one semester will be allowed to continue with the course. However, they will be placed on academic probation. This means that they will have to maintain a minimum CGPA of 6.0 in order to continue with the course.
• A student who fails three or more internal exams in one semester will be required to repeat the semester.
• A student who fails five or more internal exams in any academic year will be dismissed from the university.
