- All candidates should clear their graduation in BA/ BSc/ BSc (Home Science)/ BCom/ BE/ BTech/ BCA/ BBM or post-graduation in the relevant subject or five-year integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other equivalent qualification with at least 50 percent aggregate marks. For candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ BC (A/B/C/D/E)/ PH category minimum mark required in the qualifying exam is 40 percent.
- Candidates securing a minimum of 55% marks in BE/ BTech with Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects or any other equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply

Yes — TS EdCET 2025 will include a Phase II counselling round, as confirmed in multiple sources. However, the official dates are yet to be published. After Phase I and the Special Round (if required), Phase II gives another opportunity for candidates who couldn't secure seats in Round 1.

Yes, a B Tech student can be eligible for TS EdCET 2025, provided they meet the required subject-specific eligibility criteria. According to the TS EdCET eligibility guidelines:
Candidates must have completed or be in the final year of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant stream (e.g., B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech, etc.) from a recognised university.

The TS EdCET 2025 qualifying marks for candidates other than SC/ST are 25% of the aggregate marks (38 out of 150). There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates. The cutoff marks will be released along with the results, and the counseling process will be based on these marks and ranks.
