No, there is no negative marking in the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TSEdCET) hence, giving candidates the chance to attempt all the questions without the fear of losing marks for incorrect answers.

Yes — TS EdCET 2025 will include a Phase II counselling round, as confirmed in multiple sources. However, the official dates are yet to be published. After Phase I and the Special Round (if required), Phase II gives another opportunity for candidates who couldn't secure seats in Round 1.

Yes, a BTech student is eligible for the TS EdCET exam. The degree must be from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. They can choose only some methodologies, like Maths.

The TS EdCET 2025 qualifying marks for candidates other than SC/ST are 25% of the aggregate marks (38 out of 150). There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates. The cutoff marks will be released along with the results, and the counseling process will be based on these marks and ranks.
