No, candidates cannot choose the same language for both Language 1 and Language 2 in the TSTET (Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test) exam.

Language 1 section in Paper 1 of the TSTET exam is based on the language chosen by the candidate (Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, or Tamil). Language 2 section in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 is based on English for all candidates.

The TSTET exam is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana. TSTET is taken to determine the eligibility of recruiting primary teachers in Telangana government, Zila Parishad, aided, unaided, and private schools. TSTET is taken in two levels which are level 1 and level 2. The aspirants qualifying for the level 1 exam are recruited as primary teachers (classes 1-5) and the candidates qualifying for the level 2 exam are recruited as upper primary teachers (classes 6-8) in the private or government schools of Telangana.
