The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana conducts the Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TS TET) exam online in the computer-based test (CBT) mode. The TSTET exam is conducted in shifts on multiple days. The exam is generally organised in two shifts - morning and evening. The shift 1 is held from 9.00 AM to 11:30 AM and Shift 2 is from 2.30 PM to 5 PM. Candidates need to appear for the exam as per the shift timing mentioned on their hall tickets.

The TS TET exam is considered easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. For TSTET exam, the difficulty standard is that of the graduation level. The TS TET exam is considered easy to crack as there is no negative marking and the difficulty level of the questions asked is generally easy or moderate.

Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Testis to recruit the candidates for teaching. TSET test includes two tests i.e test paper 1 and test paper II. Test Paper I is for the candidates who are willing to teach the students of class I to V and the paper II is for the teachers who are willing to teach the students of Class VI to VIII.
The syllabus for test I is:
