Yes, of course, you need to appear for the NET exam before applying for JRF Assistant Professor Position.

In the NET exam, you need to select the subjects in which you have done you PG or related subjects if in case it is not mentioned in the list. So, the subjects will be related to computer science.

Hello,
Yes, you can appear for the UGC NET Exam. The candidates who have completed post graduation degree with 55% marks from the recognised university are eligible to apply for the NET Examination. The UGC NET Exam is conducted for the lectureship and the JRF Award. There is no age limit for the lectureship while the age of the candidates must e below 30 years. The NET Exam application form is already out and the exam is scheduled on 8 July. As you have completed PGDMB in marketing you can apply for the related subjects like Management and marketing, you can apply for the UGC NET Commerce subject.

Hello Jhansee, Congratulations for the post-graduation. Here, let me tell you about the NET Exam. NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted for the Assistant professor in universities or colleges and the award of the Junior Research Fellowship. The UGC NET exam is conducted for around 84 subjects while the CSIR NET exam is conducted for the Science stream subjects like Physical Science, chemical Science, life Science, earth Science, and mathematical Science. Hello,
You have Masters degree in physics so you can apply for CSIR NET Physical Sciences. As per the latest notification CSIR NET 2018 will be held on 17th June 2018. Get the complete details from here - https://www.eduncle.com/csir-net-exam
To apply for the NET Exam you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters if you are from general/ OBC category or if you belong to SC/ST/PwD categories you should have scored minimum 50% aggregate.
To apply for the CSIR NET exam your maximum age should be 28 years. SC/ST/OBC/PWD/female applicants have up to 5 years relaxation in age criteria.

If you are a student of M.Sc. chemistry, you will have to opt for Chemistry as your subject in your NET exam. You should have completed Masters degree in Chemistry subject with above 55% marks to be eligible for NET exam. There is no age criteria for lectureship. Regards.

If you have done your PG in Journalism, you will have to select Mass Communication and Journalism as your subject in UGC NET. Question Pattern: There will be two question papers UGC NET Examination in Mass Communication and Journalism, Paper II and Paper III. Paper II will have 100 marks in total whereas Paper III will have 150 marks in total. You need to be in the final year of Master's degree to apply for this course. A provisional admission will be given to those students. In your case, you won't be eligible to apply now. For details refer to the link: https://www.shiksha.com/teaching-education/exams/ugc-net.
