Your eligibility for NET depends on your subject of graduation i.e. in which subject did you do your graduation. If you are from pol. Science then you can surely pursue Masters in Pol Science.

UGC NET 2023 exam for the June cycle was carried out between June 13 to 22, 2023. The exam was conducted online CBT mode and comprises two papers-1 and 2. The duration of the test was three hours. Paper 1 carried 50 questions and Paper 2 carried 100 questions. There were no negative marking for wrong answers. The language of the question paper was English and Hindi. The questions in the exam are generic in nature, intending to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. The National Testing Agency NTA will shortly release the application form for the UGC NET June cycle 2023 on the official website, along with the UGC NET notification. The UGC NET June application form will be available in the first week of May (tentatively). UGC NET exam is taken by NTA twice a year to determine the eligibility for Assistant Professors/JRF (Junior Research Fellowship). The two cycles in which the UGC NET exam is taken are June and December cycle.
