The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC NET notification for the June cycle 2024 on April 20, 2024. The NTA NET notification was released as a PDF that comprises the details of the UGC NET June cycle like application dates, syllabus, eligibility, and more. The steps to download the notification are given below:
- Go to the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in
- Click on the UGC NET June Notification 2024 link
- The UGC NET notification PDF will appear on the screen
- Download the PDF and save it for later use

The eligibility criteria for UGC NET Environmental Science include having a master's degree or equivalent in Environmental Science or related subjects with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for candidates belonging to reserved categories). Candidates who are in the final year of their master's programme or waiting for the result can also apply.

The eligibility criteria of UGC NET 2024 is given below.
Eligibility criteria:
- Age: Maximum 30 years for JRF
- Age: No limit for Asst. Professor
Education qualification: Master's degree in humanities and social sciences ( Including languages), Computer Science and applications, Electronics science, etc. with minimum of 55% marks from UGC recognised universities/ Institutions. 50% for OBC/SC/ST/PWD/ Transgender.
So 55% in Masters degree are mandatory if belongs to General category. So can't give UGC NET 2024.

Hi. Yes, if they secured 55% in Master's degree then they can apply for UGC NET.

Hi. You can apply after backlog also but you must have a master's degree or its equivalent from a recognised university with at least 55% marks.
