Yes, many topics in the UK Board 12th syllabus also appear in competitive exams like NTSE, Olympiads, or scholarship tests. If you understand the basic concepts well, it becomes easier to prepare for both. Try to solve higher-level questions in subjects like Science and Math. Take out some extra time daily for competitive exam preparation.

To manage time well, make a proper study timetable and follow it daily. Start with difficult subjects when your mind is fresh. Divide your syllabus into small parts and try to complete each part before the deadline. Keep enough time for revision and practice sample papers. Avoid distractions like mobile phones during study time.

No, examiners will not deduct marks for exceeding the word limit. Marks will be deducted for spelling mistakes in the Language Papers. Students are advised to be careful with the spellings, so that they won't loose any marks. They are also advised not to waste time by writing much more than the word limit.

No, the pre board exam marks will not be considered in the Class 12 Board examination marks. Pre-Board or model exams are conducted to make students familiar with the board exam. This will help students to understand the pattern of exam, time management etc. It also help them to know how well they are prepared for the Class 12 Board examination.

Practice writing the answers daily, so as to improve the speed. When you are learning a topic, make it a habit of writing. Maintain a good posture of your back while writing. Students who want to improve their writing speed must do wrist exercises daily as it not only makes the hand and fingers flexible but also reduces the pain that may occur from writing for a long time. Before writing any answer during exam, organize your ideas and try to write your answer in points, if short of time.

You are advised not to stress yourself. Continue putting in your best effort. Allot more time to those topics in which you are not that confident. Make short notes of important points. Hard work will definitely help you achieve more marks than your pre boards.
