Cutoff ranks are based on branch, category, and performance on a yearly basis. For instance, in 2023, cutoff ranks for Computer Science branch ranged approximately from 240,000 to 1,068,722. Since JEE Main is a percentile score, a good percentile (usually 85–90) can be asked for by preferred branches. These ranks are not fixed and change with seat allotment and candidate performance.
