Candidates who have passed Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology Engineering with at least 60 percent marks in aggregate from Panjab University or any other University recognised by Panjab University as equivalent thereto are eligible.

However, the specific marks required for admission may vary from year to year and depends on factors such as the number of applicants and the availability of seats.
