According to the World University ranking of QS 2025, there is a huge reduction in the University of Florida rankings compared to 2024. The university was ranked at #168 (2024) which is now ranking at #215 in 2025. However, there is a slight improvement in the Global MBA category rankings. The university went from #69 to #60. In addition, the university ranked well in categories such as Architecture and Build Environment; Communication and Media Studies; Global MBA; Nursing; Pharmacy and Pharmacology.

The global rankings at University of Florida has shown a decreasing trend in comparison to the last few years. According to THE, the university has been ranked at #132 in 2024 and #130 in 2025.
