Yes, the University of Patanjali is also provided very good facilities and as good as compared to Hari om Saraswati degree College. Both the univeristies are located in Haridwar but University of Patanjali offers BA specialisation in Yoga whereas Hari Om Degre College offers BA in specific. University of Patanjali is also approved by UGC and total fees is Rs 66000. It also offers 100 seats in BA course. Therefore University of Patanjali is comparatively better than Hari Om Saraswatu Degree College.

Yes, there is an entrance exam for some of the courses offered at the University of Patanjali. The exam is called the Aptitude Test (APT). It is a computer-based test that covers the following topics:

  • General English
  • General Mathematics
  • General Knowledge

The APT is required for admission to the following courses:

  • Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yoga Science (BNYS)
  • Diploma in Naturopathy & Yoga Science (DNYT)
  • Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biological Science

You must have completed your 12th grade with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in order to be eligible for the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) programme at the University of Patanjali. Passing grade in English is a must to get admission in this college.

However, applicants from the reserved category and those with disabilities receive a 5% mark relaxation.

Yes, University of Patanjali is regarded as one of the top institutions in India for studying yoga. It has been named after sage Patanjali, an ancient philosopher who credited the concept of yoga.
