In the UTET exam, papers 1 and 2 contain 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) each. Paper 1 comprises 5 sections i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Paper 2 comprises 4 sections with a choice in the fourth one i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, and Mathematics and Science or Social Studies. UTET Marking Scheme: 1 mark is allotted for every correct answer and there is no negative marking in the UTET exam.

The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) releases the UTET Notification in Hindi containing the important details regarding the exam such as exam date, application process, exam pattern, syllabus, eligibility criteria, result declaration criteria, etc. UTET Notification will be released by the Uttarakhand Government in PDF format on the official website.
