UTET 2021-22 result has been released by the UBSE along with the final answer key. The UTET result 2021 has been released online on March 15, 2022. Candidates who appeared for the Uttarakhand TET exam can check their results now using the login details such as registration number and password or roll number and date of birth. The UTET final answer key 2021 is also available for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates can download the modified answer key by visiting the official website. The UTET 2021 exam was held on November 26 for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The UTET Paper 1 was held from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and Paper 2 was held from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm. 

What is UTET?

Uttarakhand Board of Secondary education (UBSE) conducts Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) to determine the eligibility of the candidates for teaching posts in government and private schools across the state. This is a qualifying test, which enables the recruitment body to screen candidates who aspire to become teachers. The exam is conducted in two parts, i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for the candidates who are applying for primary classes from 1 to 5 and Paper 2 is for classes from 6 to 8. it provides qualified candidates with a TET Eligibility Certificate that is now valid for a lifetime. This certificate enables them to apply for the post of teachers in government and private schools.

UTET Question Paper 2021

UTET Eligibility Criteria 2021

UBSE, the teacher recruitment body, has set specific eligibility criteria for the applicants, candidates must check all eligibility criteria attentively in order to avoid incidents like cancellation of application or disqualification.

Age: The age of the candidates shall not be more than 38 years and not less than 18 years.

Educational qualification: The table below contains the UTET educational qualification for Paper 1 and Paper 2.

  • Shiksha Mitra personnel with 2 years Diploma (D.El.Ed) from IGNOU

Paper 2 (Class 6 to 8)

  • Graduation with a minimum of 45 per cent marks in B.Ed as per the NTEC guidelines
  • Graduation in any discipline with 50 per cent marks along with B. Ed
  • SSC or equivalent with 50 per cent minimum marks and a Bachelor degree of 4 years in BA/ BSc Ed or BA Ed/BSc Ed

UTET Selection Process 2021

UTET is conducted to assess the eligibility of the candidates who are willing to work as teachers in different government and private schools in Uttarakhand. The UTET selection or exam process involves various stages such as the release of notification, the application process, the release of admit card, the conduct of exam and declaration of result. Have a look at these stages in detail below.

Step 1: Release of UTET Notification

The UTET exam process begins with the release of official notification. The UTET notification is the first official document released by the UBSE for the conduct of the exam. The notification contains important details such as the application process, eligibility criteria. exam dates, admit card, conduct of exam, exam pattern and syllabus.

Step 2: UTET Application Form

The UBSE starts the UTET application process after releasing the notification. The application process is carried out online. Eligible candidates need to fill the UTET application form and pay the application fee to appear for the exam.

Step 3: Issue of UTET Admit Card

The UTET admit card is released on the official website around a week before the exam. Candidates need to download the admit card and carry it to the exam centre on the day of the examination.

Step 4: Conduct of UTET Exam

The UTET exam is conducted offline as a pen and paper-based test. The exam is held in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates need to mark their answers in the OMR sheet using the ballpoint pen.

Step 5: Declaration of UTET Result

The UTET result is usually declared within a month of the conduct of the exam. Candidates can check their results by visiting the official website. 

UTET Syllabus 2021

The UTET syllabus 2021 is prescribed by the UBSE for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates who are going to appear for the exam should have clarity about the complete syllabus. The UTET Syllabus for Paper 1 comprises questions from five sections, namely, Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies and Paper 2 comprises questions from four sections including Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies.
