If you have filled it in the application form, then yes you can change your course within the first semester, but if you have started studying in that course you cannot change the course.

It can be good if:
1) You do not want to spend much time in academic studies and want to learn on your own.
2) Internal marks are provided even you don't appear in many tests. But if you want quality education you may want to consider other options.

Hi Kushagra,
Unfortunately, you don't have much chance of getting admission in Lucknow University for B.Com. Last year, the admissions were closed on 226 rank, and in 2016, it was closed on 186 rank. Hence, this year also, the expected closing rank would be around 250 max.

If you are getting PES-Bangalore, go for it. The above 4 institutes are good. But if we arrange them in preference order so it is like PES-Bangalore, SRM-Chennai and Amity-Noida, and VIT-Bhopal. Choose wisely. See their rankings, review, placements, faculty, etc.
Good luck.

Amity University is of course better. It offers so many opportunities to its students as compared to any other.
