Hi Amit,
The basic eligibility for a veterinary course is 10+2 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% in aggregate from CBSE/ICSE/State Board or equivalent. Further, students who have appeared in 10+2 or any other intermediate level examination and are awaiting results can also apply for the program and be admitted on a provisional basis.
Admission process:

You may opt for a Bachelor's degree in veterinary science which is BVSc. If you wish to study abroad you must take the IELTS to meet English language requirements.

The aspirants who wish to become a Veterinary Doctor should have specific academic qualifications. After higher secondary education, they can go for UG programme in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. Moreover, they are required to pursue this course from any University recognized by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). The duration of this course is five years.
