Hello Madhusudan,
It is very nice of you to think of doing your M.Tech via distance education mode, but when I checked on the website of VTU, it is located at Belgaum while you are mentioning it in Bangalore. I am attaching a link for your ready reference. Am I missing something that is in your mind and I am not able to understand? There are plenty of colleges in Bangalore offering M.Tech on regular basis and few of them by correspondence also. Shiksha app will give you all the information about these colleges as well as colleges offering distance mode also.

But, it is not the truth .
RIMS is way out of the main campus , and is under MS Ramaiah foundation. They promise good placement, but none of their promise are met at the end.
Same is for Ramaiah Institute of Business Studies (RIBS ) and Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies (RILS)
These are not the same as MS Ramaiah.
They lie about the placement and everythi

Hi Hari,
The rules for changing the college vary according to university rules from time to time. So, we would suggest you to inquire from the concerned colleges and its authorities.

You need to take KCET.
To obtain admission in really one of the top colleges, you need to get a good score in KCET and PUC.
2 years back NEET was introduced for the medical colleges. So, you need to have a good ranking in NEET to get better medical colleges.
All the best.

College change or university change after the first year is completely dependent on the college and university norms, some university allow it and some won't plus you need to have good scores in the first year to apply for the same. For further details, contact the college authorities.
