Hello Shrinivas,
Unfortunately, JEE Mains will not get you admission in VIT. You need to be domicile of Maharashtra. If you are not then you gave option of seeking admission against All India Quota, but it's announced very late. So keep your fingers crossed.

Hello Ashok,
The admission into B.Tech biotechnology at VIT Vellore is based on the ranks that you get in VITEEE. You need to opt for PCBE and not PCME.

Hello Shivi,
There are no separate seats for NRIs. You need to apply for the same procedure as the resident Indian nationals. Only foreign nationals have a separate procedure.
The admission is based on an entrance test called VITEEE.

Hello Ashwin,
The admission into B.Arch at VIT University is based on the scores in NATA exam only. VIT doesn't conduct any exams for that.

Seems you know very less about engineering in India.
VIT is not even par with top 10 NITs and top 4 IIITs.
DTU, DAICT, NSIT, LNMIT, PEC and even Thapar are better than it.
Then how can you compare it to IITs.
