Advance fee in VIT is partial amount that must be paid after seat allotment to book allocated seat. It can vary for different categories. Once candidate makes payment, he/she is not allowed to attend further rounds of counselling.

To get VIT Vellore campus, it is important to understand the ranking and admission competitiveness. The closing rank for CSE branch usually closes at 500 or max 700. Thus, keeping that in mind, students must focus more on building conceptual knowledge. Practice PYQs and GATE questions to be more efficient in solving questions.

VIT Vellore BTech admissions are scheduled to close in second week of April every year. This deadline is for registration to VITEEE which is mandatory for BTech admission. Thus, candidates are advised to register for VITEEE as soon as they receive their Class 12 board exam result.
