It is not so easy to shift to another University after completing one year of course. Different course curriculum, fee structure are the main reason. However, you may contact to your HOD regarding this and explain the reasons for seeking the transfer. Your HOD will write a letter of transfer if he satisfied with the reasons as you explained.

Yes, you can get CSE after qualifying VTUEEE but also, look at their latest merit cutoff because if your score is less then you might not get a seat.

Well, both are good in their own aspects. If you do have the opportunity to consider joining an autonomous college, then check about their curriculum, evaluation process and hands-on experience involved in the study. You can check online reviews as well as talk to alumni. Accordingly, make a decision.

Well, I cleared VITEEE in 2012. I had not prepared for any entrance exam during my entire class 11th- class 12th time period. I didn't even fill up IIT form. So, the best shot that I had was to clear VITEEE and save myself from one more year of PCM torture and I did comfortably without studying much. The only key is to have all the concepts clear as much as possible. At least, be thorough with physics and particularly chemistry because chemistry is pretty easy in the paper.
