Wealth Management is basically sales of the products. Do not get by the fancy name. If you're good at speaking and can handle targets, go for it.

Hi Anil,
A wealth manager is not an investment banker. Wealth management can be a division within an investment bank. But apart from some information/sales synergies, the two have little to do with one another.
Investment banking is classically the sum of:
1. Mergers and Acquisitions
2. Equity Underwriting
3. Debt Underwriting
Hope it helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up if you found this useful.
Wish You Luck!

Hi,
If you are a CA (It would have been better if you would have pursued CFA from USA instead of CA if your aim was to make career in banking sector) and Diploma in Banking, you may get career in credit control, credit appraisal, risk management etc in Banking industry. It is not core accounting job, but has lot of monetary benefit.
