Before choosing a subject, first you should decide in which field you want to make career I. e. zoology or HR. Accordingly you should select the subject. The subject selection should be based on your career goals and interest. You can choose zoology or HR and Personal Management.

Basic eligibility to pursue M.Sc in Food and Nutrition from Women's Christian College is that Candidate must have completed B.Sc in Home Science, Nutrition and Dietetics with courses in Physiology, Food Science, Nutrition, Dietetics and Biochemistry from a recognized university. The admission is based on the marks obtained in graduation. Interested candidates can apply online with the required information.

The minimum eligibility to apply for B.Sc (Hons) in Zoology from New Alipore College is that candidate should have a pass mark of 60% in class 12 with mandatory subject Zoology/ Biology/ Biotechnology.

After completing your post-graduation if you want to become a researcher or lecturer, you can apply for CSIR NET Exam. It is a national eligibility test for science students to examine their knowledge required for holding the position of lecturer and research fellows at India's reputed institutes.

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) conducts the NET exam on the bi-yearly basis for those who want to make their career in Research and Lectureship field. Please check for your eligibility to pursue a course in M. F. Sc from the criteria mentioned below:
Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.): Eligibility:
The candidates who have completed their higher education that is Graduation with Science as their major discipline with at last minimum aggregate marks obtained in their exams are eligible for this course. Some institutions consider the score in the entrance tests based on the subjects covered and may consider that scores also.
