Overall, college experience is good and infrastructure is average but the new building is better.
Placements: You will definitely get good chances in placements, as last year the highest package was of 24 lakhs, the average package was around 7 lakhs and the lowest package was around 4 lakhs. Many companies visit our college and there are so many internship opportunities throughout the year .
Infrastructure: The whole college has the Wi-fi facility; classrooms and libraries have different wifi. Speed is not that good but useful when needed. Hostel facilities are not available in our college but you will definitely get a PG/FLAT in 10-20k per month. The area around the college is also safe and near the market.
Faculty: Business law: Law's sir is best teacher of my faculty; he teaches very well and is very co-operative and is not very strict about attendance. Accounts & management teachers are also good. Teaches well and covers all the doubts. GE, SEC, VAC & AEC teachers are also nice & supportive.
Other: I chose this course because of interest in commerce. Events and fests occur, but not as frequently as on the northern campus.

Review of Shivaji College, University of Delhi.
Placements: My batch is 2021-2024, three-year course in BA . Hons. Geography in Shivaji College. The lowest pack is 2 lacs and the maximum pack is 8 lacs. Also here is an internship available for all courses; many companies are coordinators with colleges and clubs of college society.
Infrastructure: Overall, infrastructure is awesome. All types of facilities are available here, like the hygiene canteen and class rooms. For practical, different courses have there own labs. The main library + department library are available here. WiFi is available all the time. All necessary equipment for sports is available in the sports room. Also, there are two mini-parks here for a green atmosphere. There are 100+ trees installed in the campus area. Overall, good college infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty are very helpful, especially the professors, who are awesome. They are always ready for doubt-solving. There are mentor and menti groups and sessions available 24x7 for all the students. Overall, they are good in nature and behavior. Extracurricular activities are organized every week or month. Semester-wise exams are taken by department or university.
Other: The college fest was awesome . The number of crowds is uncountable. All types of connectivity are available here, like metro and DTC, which are popular transportations available here. The campus area is so big and the sports group is also so big. A cricket stadium-like ground is here. All types of outdoor sports are available here. The atmosphere of campus is environment-friendly. 100 + trees are installed in the campus area. Canteens are hygienic and a cafe is also available in the campus area. Scholarships are available here for students who belong to the economic week section and another sector. Different types of companies offer internships or placements.

Good infrastructure and faculty, and satisfied with the placements .
Placements: The placement of my college is not at all good as per my B.A., and I do not find so much good placement in our college because maximum placements are provided to the management category and not so many companies visit for college as it is a government college.
Infrastructure: So talking about the infrastructure, we have multiple courts for playing volleyball and basketball and even indoor games like carrom and table tennis. The food in the mess is good as the maintenance of hygiene is very good and seeing as the classes and labs are well furnished all over, the infrastructure is well maintained for you.
Faculty: We have a good faculty of teachers with vast knowledge and we have extracurricular activities in our college. The faculty in our college have a lot of experience in teaching and we have semester-wise exams. We also have weekly surprise tests.
Other: College fests, department fests, and inter-house competitions are organized. Scholarships are provided by the college .

Shivaji College is a off campus of Delhi University but it has good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: There is no placement in BSC life sciences. You can take placement by your others skills and many companies come to college for placements like TCS, but mostly they are not for our course. You can choose many other courses in Shivaji College and take placement.
Infrastructure: Labs are well functioning and have proper equipment. Library is also very big and has air conditioner, hostel is not available. Every kind of book is available in our library and have proper space to sit and learn. Lab are also nicely arranged and well functioning.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They teach very well. Semester exams are not really tough you can score good marks. Teachers teach you everything regarding your syllabus and course. In our college every student has their mentor who helped them in every possible way.
Other: I chose this course because I have interest in science and in this college has many events and orientation are organized to encourage and teach the students value of science.

Good faculty and facilities, fun campus life, worth the money.
Placements: Placements aren't particularly great but not too poor either. The college has an active placement cell. A student from the commerce department secured a placement with a package of 24 lakhs per annum, though the average package is around 3-4 lakhs, and not all students receive offers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent, with both pros and cons. The new Jijabai Block is well-furnished and maintained, while the older building is slightly less so. The canteen is spacious, and the library is considered one of the largest in DU. Additionally, our college has one of the biggest sports complexes among DU colleges. However, there is no hostel facility provided by the college.
Faculty: The faculty is very supportive and helps with any issues students face. There are enough qualified and experienced teachers to guide students. Exams occur once each semester, with class tests and internals held before the main exams. The pass percentage is around 40% per subject, with a revised requirement of a 6.32 CGPA overall.
Other: The annual fest, 'VIBRATIONS,' is held every year around February or March. It’s a two-day event featuring various activities organized by cultural societies, ending with a live performance by a singer on the final night. There are around 49 societies in college, offering a wide range of options to join. Societies are very active and hold their own fests, which help students make friends, experience college life, and develop their personalities. The college has DU's largest library with an extensive collection of books, ensuring plenty of resources for study. Scholarships are available for underprivileged students and merit holders.

Good faculty but no placements, college life and crowd is good but infrastructure could be better.
Placements: Their is no placement as such in college. The placement cell is there but it doesn't really provide useful or good placements. Mostly students opt for Masters after their Bachelor degree or either prepare for competitive exams like UPSC, etc. You can still apply for off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very bad. The washrooms are really hygienic in the old building, but they're still better in the new building. The fans are also sometimes not working properly. The classes are sometimes held in bamboo rooms in summer, and one can easily get unconscious due to the eating up of the roof. The library is the only good thing in college. There is no hostel facility.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. All of them have their Ph.D. degrees from renowned universities. They are hired after clearing several exams and interviews. This course in itself isn't sufficient. You need to do Masters to get good placements. The semester exams happen once in every semester, and they are relatively easy. An average student can clear it too. The pass percentage is 6.6 CGPA.
Other: The crowd is from all across the country. Societies are very good and active. They conduct several events throughout the year, providing exposure, and personality also improves. Annual festival happens every year called 'VIBRATIONS' which is quite good. Different programs are conducted, and a singer is called on the last day.

Q:   How are hostel facilities at Shivaji College?

A:
There is no hostel facility in our college. But it is located in the reputed area and there are many PGs which provides comfortable rooms with or without food. If you live close to the college there would be a good chance to attend the classes on time ( especially when shifted suddenly). Average rent for the PG ( paying guest facility) is 8,000 INR which good food and you'll get hot water during and there is a timing rule for PG, like there is a time limit to enter the college one cannot enter in the PG after given time. My few friends lives in PG and they share a lot of things to me about their PG ( good food, management, hospitality, good behaviour of the PG owner, etc. ). Overall the quality of PG is very nice and you won't face ang problem there.

A:
Nothing happens, if you have some medical reasons then you can submit the medical. I have seen that internal exams are taken 2-3 times because of missing students. Teachers should be provided the reason for absence in the exam and they would arrange another day for internals and sometimes teachers gives the option of giving internal exams if students scores less (to help the students in improving their internal marks). But if you know that you haven't scored well then you'll have to score good in semester exam so that you'll get good marks and won't fail.
