Marketing and sales are all about interpersonal skills. Your graduation score will be a factor but not that much. I had interacted with some senior faculty of amity as I have also applied there. And they said companies, specially in marketing and sales, are now a days more focused towards professional skills. Academics has now gone to the second rank. What they look out most is your engagements beyond Academics that is extra curricular activities. Corporate sector is changing rapidly and with it their priorities are changing. They give most priority to extra curricular activities. But all that being said you must be at least above average in your studies if you want to have a good career.
