Amity, Ranchi is well known for the engineering couses it offers to the students. The Amity University, Ranchi take admissions of students based on their scores in CUET for various courses whereas the selection criteria for B.Tech couses is based on the Marks secured in JEE Mains or Amity JEE entrance exam.The eligibility to take admission for B.Tech courses includes PCM stream in class 12 with 55%  or more aggregate marks in the anual examination.

Amity University, Ranchi Jharkhand just like the other Universities accepts admissions based on the Common University Eligibility Test (CUET). The CUET examination conducted everyone since 2022 by National Testing Agency (NTA), usually during May-June. The entrance exam is based on Class12 exam.
