ASB offers MBA and not PGDM. There are multiple eligibility criteria's to be taken care of for joining MBA at ASB. Other criteria's include your CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE and your performance in the interview. MAT scores are accepted in all other campuses except ASB, Coimbatore.

It completely depends on your area of interest. ASB has the legacy of pulling in companies from all domains. No particular domain has an edge over others. Providing quality education to face any kind of interview is the ultimate goal. Each year 100+ companies visit the campus. The first year is a common trimester for every individual and by the end of the first year, the course asks you to go through an internship program by which you will be able to decide on the domain which you can pursue in your second year. Just be open to what you learn and you will be able to figure out the best which fits you.

We encourage business simulation and analytics and hence, we have made CAPSTONE Business Simulation Global challenge as a mandatory program for all students in the Strategic Management course. As a member of AACSB, a gold standard for B-Schools world over, our curriculum is globally bench-marked against the best. ASB offers international dual degree and student exchange programs with TEM France (24th Ranked B-School in the world), State University at Buffalo, New York (at Bengaluru campus) University of Groningen, Uppsala University, Deakin University and University of New Mexico. Most recently our student represented India at the ESOMAR APAC 2015. Under the World Bank funded initiative India: e-Delivery of Public Services we were awarded a research grant to build an e Governance Analytics Platform. The placement process is handled by the corporate and industrial relations cell of the Amrita University for all the campuses. Hence, there is no difference in placements. However the electives offered at Coimbatore are bit different from the rest of it's campuses. Hence the course can be seen differently in the eyes of the companies coming for placements.

Coimbatore is the main campus. All others are the department of management studies under schools of engineering. ASB Coimbatore also has a dedicated IBM analytics laboratory and our library system provides access to most of the top international journals and research papers which can be utilized by the students to carry out their research process. Also, ASB Coimbatore has a different elective structure which makes it positioned differently and hence you see the difference in the fee structure.

The process of placements is centralized, with students from all 4 campuses (Amritapuri, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Kochi) vying for roles in the same companies. Hence the question really is - "Is the candidate a good fit for the job posting and the company?"
Secondly, Amritapuri boasts of faculties who have industrial experience. So the teaching here is not by the book, but is rigorous enough to ready you for what potential employers seek.
