For BVSc & AH, the reserved category seats include:
- ICAR & VCI: 19 seats
- Children of Agriculturist: 1 seat
- Children of Farm Labourers/ Permanent Labourers of KVASU: 1 seat
The eligibility for admission requires candidates to have passed in the subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects. Admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. is regulated by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations of Kerala (CEE) and Veterinary Council of India (VCI) on the basis of merit as assessed in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted by the NTA.
