The university offers six specialisations in BA courses, from which some of the BA specialisations might accept CUET scores only. However, the university also accepts valid SAT scores for admissions to BA courses.Moreover, candidates whose Class 12 results are awaited and who want to take admissions to BA courses can apply through the university-in-house-entrance exam. Hence, APU Bangalore does accept the scores of the CUET/SAT/in-house entrance exam for BA courses.

The eligibility criteria to get admissions into MSc courses at Azim Premji University is that candidates must complete their bachelor's degree from the recognised university. Additionally, ideal candidates should possess basic mathematical and analytical skills to succeed in this programme. For the final selection process, the university accepts the scores of two entrance examinations, i.e., the CUET PG and the in-house university entrance exam (APU NET).The eligibility criteria to get admissions into MSc courses at St. Joseph University is that candidates must complete graduation with a minimum of 40% aggregate of all the subjects and 50% marks in Chemistry (cognate subject)/Biochemistry (with a minimum of 24 credits in Chemistry) and studied Mathematics at least at Class 12 or PUC level or Mathematics courses equivalent to Class 12 level through MOOCS programmes. Additionally, candidates must have passed St. Joseph's University Entrance Test (SJUET).
