IFMR Chennai offers admission to candidates based on their entrance exam scores. Candidates need to have a valid score in CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ NMAT for MBA. Further, aspirants are also called for an online interview. Candidates willing to seek Executive MBA admission at IFMR GSB, need to appear for a written test carried out by IFMR GSB faculty, followed by a PI round at L&T Construction's offices all over India. For integrated and PhD courses, aspirants have to qualify for any one of the entrance exam such as IPMAT, SAT, Krea Aptitude Test and CAT, CMAT, GATE, etc., respectively.

IFMR Chennai offers Integrated MBA programme at the UG level. Aspirants who have completed Class 12 can apply for UG programmes. The minimum aggregate required for Integrated MBA is 60%. Hence, aspirants with 75% in Class 12 can get admission provided they also meet the subject and selection requirements.

IFMR GSB offers Merit-cum-Means scholarships to provide financial aid to students. Under this, students get a scholarship amount of INR 2 Lacs per student. IFMR Chennai admissions are currently open. Candidates can fill out the application form online on the institute's website. Aspirants have to pay INR 1,500 as the application fee. The institute offers admission to aspirants based on their entrance exam scores. Aspirants also have to pass interview round for admission to some of the programmes.

IFMR Krea University is quite strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of Integrated BBA+MBA. The requirements include:
- Date of birth of the applicants should be January 1, 2006 or later
- Applicants must have studied in the English Medium, obtained at least 60% marks [overall] both in Class X and Class XII with at least 60% in Mathematics in Class X
- A student who has not been assessed by any of the above listed Boards in Class X, and is directly pursuing IB as a four-year programme after middle school will not be eligible, to apply for 2025 admission, unless such student has already completed IB in 2024 or earlier.
- Students who have not qualified in Math with 60% in class X in any of the above boards can qualify based on SAT score of at least 600 in Math.

Aspirants with a CUET-UG score can get admission in UG courses. However, it is not mandatory to have a CUET score for admission. Candidates with a valid score in SAT, ACT or KREA Aptitude Test are also offered admission. The university opens admission separately for CUET qualified candidates.
