Azim Premji University Bangalore Course Admission 2025: Last date, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoffs, Application Process

Azim Premji University does not release the exact number of students who can pursue an MA program. However, the university aims to maintain a small class size, so the number of seats available is likely to be limited.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the MA programs varies depending on the specific program. However, all applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or institution. Azim Premji university is a non profit privately owned university which provides premium quality education and other facilities. Fees structure of the Azim Premji university is actually expensive but financial assistance is provided to the meritorious students on the basis of their family income. APU Bangalore BSc admissions are based on JEE Main,  CUET,  SAT India and Azim Premji University National Entrance Test  (university-in-house-entrance exam), followed by PI. The university also offers admission to BSc courses with the scores of candidates and availability of seats for the chosen specialisation. To be eligible for a BSc at Azim Premji University, candidates must complete their Class 12 in the PCM/ PCB stream with at least an aggregate of 50%. Additionally, candidates must ensure that the upper age limit to apply for our undergraduate programmes is 21 years as of Jul, 31 2025.

3. Click on the "Undergraduate" tab if you are applying for an undergraduate program, or the "Postgraduate" tab if you are applying for a postgraduate program.
4. Click on the "Apply Now" button.
5. You will be redirected to the Azim Premji University application portal.
6. Create an account and log in.
7. Complete the application form.
8. Upload your academic transcripts, standardized test scores, and other supporting documents.
9. Pay the application fee.
10. Submit your application.

Candidates can get admissions to the MSc courses at Azim Premji University without CUET PG scores. As the scores of Azim Premji University National Entrance Test are also considered for admission. Besides, it is important that the candidates must ensure that they meet the basic eligibility criteria. Thus, CUET PG is not compulsory for the course admission.

Class 12th scores are not considered for selection. The selection is based on entrance tests and interviews. Admission to the university is Merit-cum-mean-based. 

However, to be eligible to apply, you need to complete Class 12 in any Indian board with at least 50% marks.

The selection process is based on the enterance test conducted by the university. Azim Premji University National Entrance Test NET is the test a candidate needs to qualify to get selected in the university.

APU doesn’t offer any merit-based scholarship to their students. For more detailed information you can refer the official website. The scholarship offered for the under-graduate and post-graduation students are mentioned below:

• The students with an annual family income less than INR 15 Lacs are eligible to avail the scholarship.
• APU scholarship is based on family income
• Scholarships are for tuition and accommodation   

The university offers scholarships for the UG programme. Students can check the documents required for scholarships:

• Parent’s bank statements (also other contributing members’ bank statements) with last one year complete transactions.
• Valid income certificate (In case the family income is less than INR 2.5 lakhs) from the competent statutory authority.
• Last three years’ Income Tax Returns (ITR) (In case the income of the family member is more than INR 2.5 lakhs).
• Audited Profit and Loss account statements for the last three years. (If the member is self-employed).
• Other document requirements such as Salary slip, Form 16 issued by the employer, medical documents, siblings’ fee receipts etc.
