Heshwantr Rao Mohite Institute of Management Bharati Vidyapeeth however is rather highly regarded in the management education sector. To begin with, it has been listed as one of the top 35 B-schools in India which is no mean feat! Also when it comes to West Zone, it stands at 13th amongst the top 50 institutes which is even more remarkable. Furthermore there have been past six years during which NIRF has placed it amongst the 75 best B-schools in India every time. This shows that they provide good education and produce quality students. If you’re after a list of top institutions for social work education, then Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Social Sciences Centre (M.S.W.) should be included as one of them in Pune with regard to social work training just like others such as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) or Faculty of Social Work at Savitribai Phule Pune University. It has a strong standing among students because of its good reputation, highly trained academic personnel and vocal range course. What sets this centre apart from the rest is its focus on practical fieldwork training, research and community involvement. Although people may differ in opinion, many believe it is the best in Pune because of its infrastructural development, industry connections and active alumni who have made it to various sectors including government and NGOs.
