I've come across some decent to good placements in Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Environment Education and Research (IEER). Here is what I have gathered: 1. Wide-ranging options: Students from IEER are taken up by government organizations, non-governmental organizations, research institutions, consulting firms and industries among others. 2. Environmental careers: The graduates find their places in environmental impact assessment, sustainability, conservation, climate change and green technology related jobs. 3. Government agencies: The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, the State Pollution Control Boards plus the Forest Departments are among the various government organizations where many students get employed. 4. Private sector: The placement of Accenture, Deloitte, Ernst & Young or Tata Consulting Engineers usually recruit some of these graduates as sustainability and environmental specialists. 5. Research opportunities: Others pursue a research career path in a reputable institution or university or further their studies.

To secure a spot in the MSc programme at the Institute of Environment Education and Research, Bharati Vidyapeeth, you must struggle somewhat; however it is reachable without effort! The institution looks for students who have solid background on Environmental Sciences, Life sciences or related fields so doing good in your academics will be vital. Moreover, you also need to do well in entrance tests such as CET or GATE but sometimes based on other aspects like research experience in inclusive aspects. Normally an applicant needs to fill out an application form followed by a written test and personal interview as part of the admission procedure. Additionally some extracurricular activities are also taken into account during admission processes along with projects or publications related to environmental science. Though competition may not be stiff as such; nevertheless if one is prepared thoroughly there are chances that he/she may be chosen for this programme due to dedication and commitment exhibited by them in pursuit of knowledge having that particular interest area (Environmental Science).

Maximum BVMC, Pune placements this year has been made up to INR 25 LPA. Still it is important to note, that being a medical college, Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College (BVMC), Pune does not follows regular placement process like engineering or management colleges do. Internship, post graduation or setting up practice is a must to do after completing the MBBS degree for students. The college is not much concern with placements but it is more concern with the quality medical education and training. You can find more information on their official website ‘BVMC, Pune’ or talk to their administration.
