When I was doing my 1st year, LOS (Lean Operation and Systems) was on the top and because of that, most of the students (including me) chose LOS as their specialization in their 2nd year. But the following year, finance was on the top. Most of the finance students got placed in the beginning itself. And the next was marketing and LOS. HR and GM recorded low placements. To answer your question, the average package for finance was of INR. 5 LPA with ITC topping with INR 10 LPA. For marketing it was somewhere around INR 4.5 LPA.

There is no entrance test for B.Com finance and accounting in Christ University. Admissions depend on marks scored in class 12th. Minimum 85% in class 12th is needed for admission in Christ University B.Com finance & accounting.

These days all the universities conduct an entrance exam for allowing students to pursue research projects culminating into PhD. Hi, both the colleges offer the same kind of programme structure but the difference between them is with the fee and national ranking : 1. MCC offers government aided fee and Christ University offers a self-financed fee. 2. MCC also has a good ranking as colleges of Arts as comapred to Christ university in India. So, it is your decision now. Good luck.

Christ University (Institute of Management) requires the following management test scores for MBA (Christ-Deemed to be University) + M.S. (Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond) as under:
1. MAT above 550 of September - 2018 / December 2018 / February 2019
2. CAT score above 70 percentile
3. CMAT-2019 score above 70 percentile
4. XAT-2019 above 70 and so on.
Hence, admission in MBA programs at Christ University are based on management test scores.
