- At least 50% marks in Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, or

- Any other qualification equivalent thereto.
Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per Central Government/State Government rules.

3. Candidates appearing in qualifying examination are not allowed to appear in M.Ed. Entrance Test.
4. Unlimited gap is allowed between qualifying examination and attempt to M.Ed.
5. Weightage marks to the candidates of following categories shall be given only after they produce required certificate/s to the admission committee issued from competent authority.
6. Total weightage marks shall not exceed to 07 percent (total 28 marks) of total marks of Entrance Examination, in any case.
7. Admission test may be organized at different centers in Gorakhpur.
8. There shall be two papers in M.Ed. Entrance Test. Each paper shall be of 2 hours duration. Each paper shall contain 100 questions of 2 marks each (200 marks). Thus, M.Ed. Entrance Test shall be of total 400 marks.
