Well, the cut-off and ranks vary from year to year but yeah based on past records, you need to have a rank lying somewhere between 310-370 to secure a confirmed seat at GNLU under general quota.
Also, if one belongs to a reserved category, a rank ranging from 6000-6100 will make him get a seat here.

As you are AIR 450, it would have been pretty obvious that you would easily score GNLU, but now that you have in a way locked TNNLS the only option left for you is to wait for the vacancies. You will have to keep checking for the website of the NLU you aim to take admission in or maybe contact the administration directly. But, I highly doubt that there will be much scope when you apply for the vacancies as, you must not be the only one who has done such blunder and the people with better AIR will be given preference over you. Well, ofcourse, doing an yearlong LLM course from the university such as GNLU is valuable as it is something which everyone craves for i.e. a tag. You get the world class education as well as a TAG of being an NLUite which in itself is quite sufficient when it comes to placements. Also the placements here at GNLU for PG students are not that good as compared to Undergraduates but are decent and if you have a good CV and a good score, you will definitely get placed at some or other firm at the campus itself. Also beside campus placement you can also opt for other placements opportunities which may be off campus and also direct recruitments at various firms with a walk in interview procedures. You get all the top law firms as recruiters such as Amarchand, trilegal, luthra etc. Also, almost every good law firm recruits here. The placements percentage lies between 70-80% .However, every student with a good CV get job offer here.
The minimum package for the passing out batch as of now is Rs. 70000 p.m. and it goes upto Rs.1.5 lac p.m.

Well the placement cell at GNLU is quite active and furnishes every possible opportunity for students ranging from law firms to corporate houses to public sector undertakings and law offices throughout India and in some cases, students have got placements abroad as well.
The top law firms in India include Cyril Amarchand Mangaldasshardul, Amarchand MangaldasTrilegalluthra & Luthra law offices, JSA & Associates, LKS associates and many more do visit the campus and even pre-placement offers are also made to students.
The placement process begins in the 4th year when the firms visit the campus and the process is then carried out. Apart from law firms various P.S.U.'s of Gujarat also express their interest in placements.
