The CLAT PG 2026 third merit list is out for GNLU admission to the PG-level LLM programme. The fourth merit list will be out on May 2, 2026 (10 PM).
- The CLAT UG 2026 fourth merit list will be published on May 2, 2026, for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) courses.
GNLU Courses & Fees 2025

Gujarat National Law University offers admission based on CLAT score to UG and PG programmes. CLAT is conducted by The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) in pen and paper mode. Besides, candidates also need to fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements for admission.
The selection for PhD courses is based on GNLU written test/ UGC-NET/ JRF/ SLET/ MPhil whereas, merit is considered for PG Diploma programme.
Gujarat National Law University or GNLU admission is entrance-based. The consortium of National Law Universities conducts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) to shortlist candidates for UG and PG law programmes. Additionally, candidates looking forward to practising law in India, are required to clear the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) that is conducted by BCI. On clearing the AIBE exam, lawyers are awarded a ‘Certificate of Practice’ which is mandatory for practising the profession as an advocate in India. Besides, the university supports financially weak and meritorious students through scholarships like the Central Sector Scholarship of Top Class Education for SC Students, Tuition Fees Waiver Scheme for Research Assistance, etc.
GNLU offers more than 400 seats for LLM course for the 2024 academic year. Candidates seeking admission to the LLM course must register for counselling in which seats are allotted to the eligible candidates. Once selected, they need to provide all the relevant documents for verification. The mentioned seat allotment is sourced from the official/ sanctioning body. It is inductive and hence, still subject to change.

GNLU Gandhinagar admission to the BA LLB (Hons) course is based on valid CLAT score, followed by CLAT counselling process. GNLU CLAT cutoff 2023 was concluded after the release of Round 5 Seat Allotment Result. GNLU Gandhinagar LLM cutoff 2026 released has been released across different categories under the AI and HS quotas. For the students belonging to the OBC category, the CLAT first round closing rank for LLM admission is 1212 in the AI quota. GNLU offers multiple specialisations under its LLM course.

GNLU Gandhinagar BA LLB (Hons) admissions in 2026 are currently open. The admission of candidates is done during the CLAT-UG counseling whose result announcement has been postponed at this point.
The release date for the merit list is yet to be announced.
