Both Ahmedabad University and GSFC University are reputed institutions that offer B.Tech courses in various disciplines. However, it is difficult to determine which one is better as it depends on various factors such as course curriculum, faculty, infrastructure, placement opportunities, and fees. According to Shiksha.com, the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Ahmedabad University offers B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 25 genuine verified students. GSFC University, on the other hand, is recognised under the Gujarat Private University (Second Amendment) Act, 2014, and was established by the GSFC Education Society - an initiative of Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited. It offers B.Tech courses and is one of the top universities in Vadodara, Gujarat. It is recommended to research and compare the two universities based on the factors mentioned above before making a decision

INR 7 LPA was the highest package offered at GSFC, but remember that the highest it has to offer is not the general case, and you would need to look for an average or a median package to get a better understanding of such things. Also, you should remember that placements are not the sole thing that matters; there's more, like further education, which may be more helpful if we do them from a research-oriented university instead of a placement-oriented university, but that might change from university to university. Also, this may change from time to time as the companies demand changes from time to time.

One must look for and find answers to these questions by talking to seniors and alumnis as they have experienced it themselves in there and the data on the internet might be some third party, some outside looking perspective or even outright advertisement, but from what I have heardLife at GSFC University is a blend of academic excellence, practical learning, cultural diversity and social activities. Students at GSFC University get to enjoy the following benefits:A choice-based credit system that allows students to choose their courses and electives according to their interests and career goals., so students can pick for themselves (availability of such subjects is another topic though, and you must look whether they are as per your requirements.)A placement record of around 60%-70% of the students getting placed in various companies like Reliance, GSFC, Nirma, etc. with an average package of 3 Lacs per annum and a the highest package of 7 Lacs per annum, So if you try enough, you can get a good enough placement package and a job etc. With this, I would like to conclude that the experience and stuggles of everyone is unique to some aspect and you might like it more than someone else or might hate it more than someone else, you may have to face different things than others, and so on. so one can never be sure.Best of luck out there

You can check the GSFC university cutoff on their official website, they generally release it in a PDF form but that might vary from time to time. at almost the same place from where you must have applied for them. You might also be able to look for it in third party websites such as this Shiksha platform or some other whichever you may deem worthy or whichever comes up first on the search. If you need to look for older cutoff, these websites also hosts them too more often than not. Hoping that you achieve what you were looking for and are able to secure a seat, Have a great career ahead. There's a big future ahead of you.

You would have to look objectively at which course you are looking for and compare accordingly. like let's say for example, MSU is a lot cheaper if you are a Gujrat domicile, and your fee might be a lot less than GSFC which is a significant portion of the money anyone spends on their college. There's also the factor of return on investment which might vary from time to time, but generally, MSU is cheaper than GSFC in some metrics and courses. Some lifestyle choices you would make also greatly affect that, and this might change from person to person. Ultimately, there's also many hidden expenditures which changes from locality to locality which may also affect your decision. So Choose wisely.

Let’s compare the placement prospects for B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and B.Tech Mechanical Engineering at GSFC University:B.Tech CSE:As the first batch of CSE students, the placement scenario is still unfolding. The Chemical Engineering department has consistently secured decent placements.Mandatory internships per semester focus on practical knowledge and industry requirements.B.Tech Mechanical Engineering:While the mechanical branch has witnessed placements, the Chemical Engineering department appears to have more placements.Companies such as GSFC, Reliance, L&T, Vikrant Auto Suspensions, etc. actively recruit students from both branches.Certainly both have great placement potential but it's too early to say anything now. Let's just wait for everything to unfold.

I takes students in various ways for various courses, For BE/Btech They take admission via JEE and GUJCET, both having a certain intake of students which they choose (45% and 55% usually) Similarly they take admissions for MBA via CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT etc. and would have a different cutoff for each. These along with many eligibility criterias for each of the various courses it offers, for Bachelor courses going to about 50% for 12th usually but may vary for one case or another. Similarly many courses don't take admissions via these entrances and may take admission via merit or some other means.
